Because of rude, angry and negative comments, that I have to assume came from some one at Spring Sushi, I will be stopping pots on this subject. Thank you to Spring Sushi for paying for the damages you caused. All comments for this blog post will be rejected regardless of subject matter.
I found your blog by searching for Spring Sushi's website.
ReplyDeleteI'm not on a "side", but I'd like to comment (even though it's likely you'll remove this).
I live in Caledonia, moved here from Toronto 5 years ago. I LOVE Sushi, and in Toronto there are a ton of great places to choose from.
I tried Spring Sushi last night for the first time (Jan. 5th). Funny story... I opened the menu and didn't notice any prices. "Hmm, strange" I thought, but I ordered Miso Soup, Black Dragon Roll, Tempura Roll and Unagi Fried Rice (they call it Eel Fried Rice, but I prefer using "Unagi"!).
The bill came and it was "Adult Dinner - $30.99". I called the waitress over because I thought they made a mistake, I had 4 dishes, not one. I was sure I owed more. Then the waitress pointed out the front cover of the menu to me, where I found this is an "All You Can Eat" Sushi place! Awesome! Probably better I found out after my meal or I would have stuffed myself. :)
The waitresses were VERY nice. Food was VERY prompt. As for the quality of the Sushi, it was good. I've had better, and I've had much worse. Overall, I will go back again for sure, and try different dishes. I just happy there is a Sushi place within 20 mins from Caledonia now! Oh, and their Wasabi was excellent. :)
As for what happened to your car, I'm happy it was resolved. And I do believe that Spring Sushi (actually their painting contractor) was responsible for the damages. Hopefully Spring Sushi will recoup the costs from the painters. The painters should have been more careful, perhaps even to the point of blocking the area off with traffic cones so no one would park nearby.
However, it looks like everything was resolved to both parties satisfaction, despite the headaches.
And I do frequent the Starbucks next door as well. Venti Caramel Macchiato FTW!
Mark, if you like Sushi, I hope you try Spring Sushi. And Mr. Day, if you like coffee, why not pop into Starbucks for one? You guys are work neighbours now, you should try to put all this behind you, both of you.

I had to let this comment in because it is a great example of the kind i like to see. You don't need to pick a side, you dont have to hate any thing just add to the conversation.
